re: Adrian's comment -
I can't think of one reason why NOT to have mini-HN's...there are so many
talented folks around the country...we don't need to rely on the regular faculty
types...could be very empowering for many people
if mini-HN's were to spring up, they would become their own entity, for
sure...and perhaps have nothing to do with their source of origin...it would
simple be a matter of evolution...a natural course of events...build it - and
they will come!
can't begin to tell all of you how hard it was not to be at Hava Nashira this
year...and a huge thank you to all of you who sent email or called the minute
you got home to see if things were okay...Rick, Jess, Paula, Laura,
Joanna....bashanah...b'somewhere...
FYI...we have had an extraordinary art experience here in
Fargo/Moorhead...visual artists from Jerusalem, Moscow, Los Angeles...(most were
Jewish) We worked together for almost three weeks and have sent off 2 travelling
exhibitions...with catalogue. AND...I have been invited to have a solo
exhibition in Moscow...now if I can only muster the courage to travel to
Russia...
