Raquel, thanks for the additional pearls Gershonite wisdom...greatly
appreciate it!  I guess I have been guilty of mixing teaching prayers and
davening them...I will refrain in the future!

Meanwhile, getting back to the thread of discussion from this past week.. I
have two questions for anyone:

1) Someone (I forget who) mentioned that she knew a song from Hebrew School
that was a mnemonic aid for remembering the parshas of the Torah in order.
Please let me know...I would LOVE to teach it...and to know it myself!

2)  Someone else mentioned that the Birkat Hamazon (long version) came from an
amalgam of drinking songs,etc.  Has anything been written about these sources,
and how it all came together.  I am very interested in this.
