Turkey In the Straw

You should be careful requesting Surfer Girl and Turkey in the Straw so
close to Purim...we'll have trouble distinguishing between sarcasm and
honest to goodness Purim requests.  :)

But seriously (ahem) Singing Adon Olam to Gilligans Island, or Lone Ranger,
or Blister In the Sun, or Indigo Girls songs...we may lose the meaning when
we do that...we may not be thinking about the words...but it sure is
fun...and it's probably the best way to get kids singing these words too.

....the old story about the uneducated boy who goes to shul and sits in the
book just singing the Aleph Bet...distracting everyone else who knows and
is attempting to pray 'right'...God will sort it out.
