I am curious to know if anyone else reacted negatively,as I did, to the 
thought of a new or different melody for "Ani ma-amin?" I know 
objectively that it's not the same as singing "Kol nidrei" to a 
different melody, but it somehow feels like it. Are there are other 
texts whose melodies have taken on, at least for some, a quasi-
"Missinai" standing?
