If you want to typeset a composition with Finale, it's
usually easier and faster to use your computer keyboard
than a music keyboard!

If you want a decent music keyboard on which you can
actually perform music (with or without a computer
attached), go for something around $300. Here is the
page with Yamaha keyboards:
http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/List/ModelSeriesListLE/0,6583,CTID%253D205000%2526CNTYP%253DPRODUCT%2526VNM%253DLIVE%2526AFLG%253DY,00.html

If you want to attach the keyboard to your computer,
make sure that the keyboard is General Midi (GM)
compatible (most above the entry level are); you will
need to buy a special Midi cable to make the connection
to your computer sound card.
