[HANASHIR:14944] Re: High Holidays

Since Rosh Hashanah coincides with Erev Shabbat this
year, we are opening with a Shabbat medley that
includes, Bim Bam, Shir Hama'lot (Craig Taubman), and
Hellellu (Friedman-Sufi). These are regular songs from
our repertoire and are well known by our congregants.
We have also used Sabbath Prayer to open when the two
coincided.
OR: Birkat Halevanah by Debbie Friedman.

Other possibilities:
Or Zarua: We use one of two, either by Dan Nichols or
by Doug Cotler, the later is based on a traditional
melody. Usually we open the service for Kol Nidre with
one of these.

Just a few suggestions, contact me privately if you
want to know what these are!
