Hi Eric,
    Yes, I was thinking of adding that to my note, so I'm glad you 
thought to do so.  That's why a piece like Isaacson's Yismechu, which is 
written in minor is great for a Friday night reform setting; however, 
the version I hear at most synagogues is the folk tune arr. by Hedaya 
which is written in E Ahavah Rabbah.  I guess it's nice to have choices.
