New music for you to enjoy on http://www.hotshabbat.com to spice up your
July 4th celebration...
Two excellent tracks by our own Natalie Young, from her CD "Carry Me,"

(Natalie, if you read this, please drop me a line. If anyone's in touch
with her, please pass along the message.)
Dan Nichol's "Kehilah Kedoshah" is linked from Jewishrock.com:

The Shofar Song-- written by Cantor Lisa Doob, taught at HN'03 by Merri Arian
http://www.hotshabbat.com/LDoob-ShofarSong.ram
...Plus a Sukkah song by the same composer:

These were recorded by Cantor Doob in Kathy Gohr's home studio,
especially for us. Special thanks to Kathy for making it happen! Early
childhood teachers, don't miss these great tunes.
Judy Caplan Ginsburgh has kindly provided nearly two dozen (!) tracks; one
of my faves is "Bayom Hahu" (by Lisa Silverstein Tzur, lyrics by Pete
Tobias), which is in the Complete Shireinu. Linked from jewishmusic.com:

Lots of people generously gave me music to post at HN '03. If I haven't
posted yours yet, I obviously messed up, so please send me a gentle
reminder and I'll get to it ASAP.
When I first set up hotshabbat.com, it was to showcase music from HN'03.
Now that a month has gone by, I'd like to open the site for new music
submissions from all members of the HN community. I accept music on CD or
cassette tape by snail mail (724 N Belgrade Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20902.)
I also accept music by email, filesize up to 5MB, at this address:
selinger (at) wsphd(dot)phys(dot)cua(dot)edu
Sheet music can be submitted in more or less any electronic format. If you
need music notated or typeset, you might try contacting Karen Gall
<klg8 (at) hotmail(dot)com> who is in the business and whose rates are quite
reasonable. Eric Komar <Eric (at) KomarMusic(dot)com> is the most experienced
music
typesetter in our community; his homepage is http://www.komarmusic.com/ .
Note: home-made recordings are always welcome. Songs for young kids will
also be linked at totshabbat.com.
Thanks again to everyone who has donated all this music for the rest of us
to enjoy!
