OK Jeff, I take the Naomi Shemer challenge.
I also don't think that she wrote liturgical music,
but her song, Shirat Ha'asavim, based on the words of
Rav Nachman of Breslav, is gorgeous, spiritual, and
very appropriate for worship experiences. It's in her
third book, No. 3.
Also, Netze Hasade (Song of Songs), Hoi Artzi Moladeti
and Omrim Yeshna Eretz (2 poems by Tchernickovsky on
Eretz Yisrael themes), are in the 3rd book.
I still highly recommend the Yael German Boi
v'shalom-lecha dodi. It, too is gorgeous, although she
is not a well known composer as far as I know. I got
it from her when she was on an Israel Caravan back in
the late 70's. It was cool to see that Shirona knew
who I was talking about!
I could fax it to anyone that wants to see it.

BTW Jeff, I am teaching your wonderful "Hanerot
Halalu" to my children's choir and to many adullts and
we are enjoying it immensely, thank you for a great
Chanukah song. I found it on your Yom Chadash CD .
