I'm with the people who claim it's by Abie Rotenberg from the group Dveykus.
And it is in the Complete Shireinu. Craig Taubman's is more like: L'- L'-
L'chah dodi, Li- Li- Likrat kalah ...
Incidentally, Cantor Jordan Franzel recently informed me that the actual title
of the song is "Bo-i V'shalom", which people will recognize as being from the
*last* verse of the text. This is because Dveykus sings only this verse in
their original recording. The "full" L'chah Dodi text was evidently an
adaptation that started in the camps or somewhere.

Hi there,
I'm pretty sure that Craig Taubman did this version of Lecha Dodi. I also
think I know the version that is the "camp version" but I don't have the music
for it.
Shabbat Shalom

Does anyone know which version of Lecha Dodi is referred to as the "camp"
version (presumably popular at the UAHC camps)? Also, there's a version of
Lecha Dodi I have that purportedly is from Temple B'nai Jeshurun in New York,
but the Cantor who gave me the music did not know the composer. The chorus
goes:
Lai, lai lai lecha dodi
Lai, Lai lai likrat chala
Lai, lai lai p'ney Shabbat
P'ney Shabbat n'kabalah
Anyone have an idea who the composer is?
Thanks.
