[HANASHIR:11931] Re: Yom Kippur & microphones



We enyer from the back (2 people carrying the Torahs with the Chazzan
singing Or Zeruah-- He sings one line and we stand still..  The choir
responds  with the  same line and we walk a few steps.  We do this 7 times--
the notes go up 1/2 step each time.  Listen to Doug Cotler's Or Zeruah on
his "Everyone's Invited" CD-  Song #2.  The beginning is what we do.  I am
including his version in the slichot service.
