we take the sifreh torah out of the aron, before everyone gets there.  then 
we turn off 1/2 the lights and do a processional down the center isle 
singing b'shivah shel malo until we get to the bimah.  the choir then begins 
the prelude to kol niedre.  its very dramatic and sets the mood for the 
evening.

We are in Deland Fl outside Orlando.
