I really have no legal knowlege about such things, but I thought I'd relate 
something that came to mind. A few years ago, the Rochester Jewish Chorale that 
I am a member of was asked to do back up for a local singer. I do not remember 
if we signed any legal documents, but what we did get was a free copy of the cd 
and all our names were listed. So maybe this is a type of compensation. ln
