[HANASHIR:11901] question about recording

Hello. I am in the process of gathering musicians to play backup parts on a 
cd of Jewish music. They are my friends and know that I'm really broke. I 
have told them that I will not be able to pay them for playing on the cd. Is 
this enough, legally speaking? If not, what else should I be aware of?
