[HANASHIR:11842] Re: SAVE THIS E-MAIL-Subscriber Reference Card for ListProc

Marsha:

Unfortunately, we do not have the capability to add such a tag line to
hanashir, or any of the Shamash lists. All that can be added is the
global Shamash tag line that is added to all messages,. I have
repeatedly asked Shamash about this, but it is a limitation of the
ListProc software that Shamash uses. There can only be one global tag
line for all the lists, and only Shamash's administrators control that.

Yahoo Groups and other list systems allow greater flexibility, but this
list is hosted on Shamash through their agreement with the UAHC, and the
UAHC is graciously picking up the cost for this list. In addition, I
suspect the free lists on Yahoo and other places to slowly disappear
over time as they convert to fee-for-service type operations.

for ListProc

Hi Adrian,
Thanks for the three detaled E mails on how listserves work, etc. I
just noticed that on each CAJE E mail I have been receiving there is a
blurb on the bottom on how to unsubscribe to the list. It is included
in EVERY SINGLE correspondance. Perhaps we can do that on this list.
You have provided detailed E mails several times now in the three years
I have been on this list and invariably, this topic comes up again and
again. Just a suggestion. Marsha
