[HANASHIR:11743] Re: afternoon Kedushah melody



The 'mode' (minor) is the same as weekday, but there are melodic phrases that 
make it instantly obvious that it is Shabbat Minchah.  Most people won't know 
the difference (even some who are there every day), but those that do will 
thank you and those who don't know will have a chance to learn.

I first learned the version in Carl Urstein's Sefer Limmud Hachazzanut Volume 
3 (also available from the CA).  This volume has beautiful engraving and a 
perfect transliteration (the author went through and hand-corrected a couple 
of mistakes in all copies after it was published).
