[HANASHIR:10374] Re: dreidel verses

Another idea about this, although maybe not for pre-school. I did this with
K-3 - gave the kids a chance to come up with their own rhymes on the dreidle.
They loved the chance to be creative and show off their ideas, although most of
them were... well, you know. It was a blast!

  Subject: [HANASHIR:10372] dreidel verses

I thought I had printed and filed all those wonderful dreidel verses that
were flying around on our list last year around this time. However, I must
have lost the sheet. These are the ones I remember and use with young kids.
Anyone like to share any more that would be good for my upcoming pre-school
concerts?

  I have a little dreidel
I made it out of wood
And when I spin my dreidel
  I always feel so good

  I H A L D
I made it out of plastic
And when I spin my dreidel
  I always feel fantastic

  I H A L D
I made it out of bread (this is my favourite)
  It looked so very yummy
  I ate it up instead

  IHALD
I made it out of snow
But when I looked last summer
  Where did my dreidel go?
