[HANASHIR:10373] Re: dreidel verses

More silly dreidle verses...

IHALD,
I made it out of ice
And when I spun my dreidle
It melted - that's not nice

IHALD
I made it out of sand
And when I spun my dreidle
It slipped right through my hand

IHALD
I made it out of air
And when I spun my dreidle
It wasn't really there... (this one is lame but the kids love it)

IHALD
I made it out of soap
I put it in the bathtub
To see if it would float

IHALD
I made it out of mud
And when I spun my dreidle
It fell down with a thud

IHALD
I made it out of clay
And when I tried to eat it
My tummy went "oy vey" - or - "no way"!

Have fun

  Subject: [HANASHIR:10372] dreidel verses

I thought I had printed and filed all those wonderful dreidel verses that
were flying around on our list last year around this time. However, I must
have lost the sheet. These are the ones I remember and use with young kids.
Anyone like to share any more that would be good for my upcoming pre-school
concerts?

  I have a little dreidel
I made it out of wood
And when I spin my dreidel
  I always feel so good

  I H A L D
I made it out of plastic
And when I spin my dreidel
  I always feel fantastic

  I H A L D
I made it out of bread (this is my favourite)
  It looked so very yummy
  I ate it up instead

  IHALD
I made it out of snow
But when I looked last summer
  Where did my dreidel go?
