[HANASHIR:9873] Re: pre-school music

I teach lots of preschool music classes -- sometimes 6 in one day -- and,
like Rachelle, sing and talk my way through nearly every minute of most of
them. I use a wireless headset microphone at all my schools so I can get
through the day and avoid vocal exhaustion. And in these early weeks of
preschool, when we've still got a few "spontaneous criers," the mike assures
that I can still be heard by those students who are trying to tune in
despite a noisy classmate.

Also, I sometimes use prerecorded music, particularly for movement, dances,
and rhythm band activities, so that helps, too. -- Carol

...Has anyone got any good teaching ideas which would give the teacher's
voice a rest for part of each [preschool] class?
Thanks,
Rachelle
