[HANASHIR:9872] Re: pre-school music

I have to agree with Bella on that one. I took over her spot at the JCC and my
first summer without a mic setup in my music room was very difficult. The JCC
has grown alot too they now have over 580 campers. If you dont want to destroy
your voice...its very worthwhile to get a small sound system :)

  Hi Rachelle,
After 20 years of singing professionally with no problem, I actually managed
to do some serious damage in just 2 months of JCC Camp. It was compounded by
teaching 6-10 grade Torah, Hebrew & Talmud full time during the ensuing year.
Here's what I learned from the big-shot throat doctor:
Drink, drink, drink -- as in WATER.
NO caffeine, alcohol or (obviously) cigarettes.
  More water.
I found it was well worth it to get a small amp -- and use a mic as much as
possible!
  Good luck!
  Bella
