[HANASHIR:8408] Re: torn about Hava Nashira this year

I would like to respond to this discussion as a total non singer, non player of
instruments but one who loves music as used by HaNashir on the list in worship.

I have not only learned a great deal, but have been able to introduce new
music, new composers and new ideas from our discussions and mail.

HaNashir, to me has become my music source and is very important.

Hava Nashira is also very important as a learning tool. Although I don't
attend I know many of you come back enthused and with new music.

My religious school is very small and music is not one of the things I look at
for it.. (My congregation is mainly seniors.) However, I have to work extra
hard at services-- to respond to the "Let's have tradional music" group.

Furthermore I have met some wonderful people on this list... and even have had
some of them like Karen Daniels to my congregation. What a treat that was.

So my vote is "If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it." I would like to keep
the list, which meets so many needs, the way it is. Also would like to keep
Hava Nashira the way it is.

Just my 2 shekels worth.
