[HANASHIR:6923] Re: HANASHIR digest 1001

In response to Debbie Block's question for music for a synagogue
addition/renovation...How about "V'Samti Makom" by Cantor Wally
Schachet-Briskin and Tammy Schachet-Briskin. The lyrics are based on a
passage from II Samuel. The song was written for the dedication of UAHC Camp
Newman and the music is available in Cantor Wally's Song Book. My youth
choir sang this song last spring after we renovated our sanctuary. It was a
great hit. It has both Hebrew and English lyrics, is very upbeat and fun to
sing, and very appropriate to the occasion.

(Cantor) Arlyne Unger
