  Dear list,

Many thanks to those of you who replied to my query about my coming to the
US. I'd like to draw your attention to the Leamington Festival (UK), from 30
April to 9 May,which this year will be dedicated to Czech music, in the
centenary of Dvorák's death. This Festival is possibly one of the biggest
celebrations of Czech music ever put together, and it will feature composers
and performers from many countries and musical avenues.

I will present a late night concert on Terezín Day, with art, cabaret and
tango songs in German, Czech and Yiddish by Viktor Ullmann, Pavel Haas Dol
Dauber, Adolf Strauss, Otto Skutecky, Martin Roman, Fredy Raymond, and Emmerich
Kálman. Many of these songs are little known and in many cases never published.

This programme is based on Terezín Karussell, a programme that I premièred
last year together with David Bloch. Info on
www.lloicaczackis.com/terezin_karussell.htm.

For details on the Leamington Festival please visit www.warwickarts.org.uk or
call +44 (0)1926 496 277.

Hope some of you will be able to make it!

  Kind regards,
