singer of - seomtimes Sephardic songs, sometimes medieval songs,
sometimes the dubious Haik-Ventura "Biblical" re-creations, the ethereal
Esther Lamandier, simply took her family name and translated it directly
(though without the apostrophe after the article - l' ): Mandelbaum.
