Maxwell Street Klezmer Band will be playing its final dinner concert (till
next summer) at Zhivago Restaurant this Wednesday, October 29, 7:30-9:30 PM.
The show will feature a new and exciting element: Klezmer Dance Master "Dancin'
Steve" Weintraub has choreographed a number of pieces from our repertoire and
will be performing them on the Zhivago stage! He will be dancing solo as well
as duets with the versatile Kimber Leigh Nussbaum, singer. Don't miss this
special visual treat--and enjoy it all for the price of dinner! ($18 minimum
pp).
Bring your own dancing shoes and come celebrate your own birthday or
anniversary with live 1940s dance music with the band.
Please DO make reservations--they sometimes sell out, and sometimes if they
don't have enough advance sales, they cancel the show! So call (847) 982-1400
ASAP--it will be a great show!
Directions: Zhivago Restaurant is 9925 Gross Point Road, Skokie. It is just
west of Crawford and just south of Old Orchard Road (a few blocks north of
Golf). There are two free parking lots.
