Re: Days of Awe

Irwin,

The concert went well (at least one rabbi and one cantor attended and
managed to hear about 1/2 an hour of the music before scooting off to
services) on Friday night. We played 4 pieces from Yossele Rosenblatt's
high holy day repertoire. There was even a story on a local radio station
where you can hear about a minute or two of music from the forthcoming
album. The link to that story is

http://www.wshu.org/news1/newsframe.asp

The album, The Days of Awe: Meditations for Selichot, Rosh Hashanah and Yom
Kippur, will be released on Thursday, August 7 and will be available at
amazon.com as well as cdbaby.com and, I hope, at Hatikvahmusic.

I will post more info in the coming weeks.

B'Shalom,
David
