Days of Awe premieres in New Haven July 18

I will be giving a concert of music from my forthcoming CD, The Days of Awe:
Meditations for Selichot, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur this Friday, July 18 at
7 pm at ArtSpace in New Haven, Connecticut.

This concert will also be the first concert of ArtSpaces new concert series,
ArtSpace Soundworks. Joinging me on Friday will be several members of the
Afro-Semitic Experience, including Stacy Phillips, Mixashawn.com, Baba David
Coleman, and Will Bartlett. The album will not be officially released until
the beginning of August, but we will have prerelease copies (without the art
work, which, incidentally can be viewed at www.chevan.addr.com/betaCD) that
will be available and that can be exchanged for free for the real thing when it
is finally released in August.

Please note: this concert (or at least the first set) will start promptly at 7
pm so that those people who observe the Sabbath will be able to get home before
sundown.

ArtSpace is located at 50 Orange Street in New Haven.
General admission is $5
students and senior citizens are $3

I hope you can join me this Friday.

B'Shalom,
David
