Well, now that you raise the issue, I'm glad it went on list because I 
had asked the same thing and got no response.  Even so, I operate under 
a non-profit organization, so that any donations are tax-deductible, at 
least in the U.S.  I don't know about other countries.  It is not as if 
many of us are "funded" by record labels, and we do find all the funding 
to create, produce and duplicate these on our own.  You are absolutely 
right that each copy we send out without compensation makes it that much 
more difficult to record the next product everyone is clamoring for.  :-)
