Talila has been our number one selling Female Yiddish artists for
approximately 8 years. I was able to get her CD "Papirossen" played on the
local NPR station a few years ago, and she took off from there.
Unfortunately, since her CDs were made in France, they were considered
"pricey" by most American standards, so no distributor would import her CDs.
She recorded for many different labels.
Many of her recordings went out of print, even in France, but we were able to
pick up hundreds of her CDs from a distributor in Europe about 3 years ago.
Hopefully some French company will license her music...
