Lorele,
I'd be willing to take a crack at your 18th century Yiddish song. (Hi. We
"know" each other from the Yiddish Teachers list.) I think the text is more
likely to be in _vaybertaytsh_ (the font traditionally used for Yiddish text in
_tkhines_ for women, and the like) than Rashi, but _ver veyst_? Write me at
this address, or at Leybl_Goldberg (at) yahoo(dot)com(dot)

Khaveyrim,
I need help with a tricky, for me, problem. I have the text to an
early
18th c. yidish song and want to read it, but it is written not only
with
archaic spelling, but also in Rashi script! Is there anyone who could
write it in modern characters for me? Anyone up for a challenge? :-)
a dank in foroys,
Lorele
