Awake Zion Benefit Party in NY City

Announcing a terrific party hapening:
What:  Dance Hall Reggae Party to benefit the film "Awake Zion."  NYU Film grad 
student Monica Haim is creating a film that highlights the connection between 
Jewish and Jamaican music and culture.  There will be entertainment including 
Selector J and the Crazy Baldhead Sound System - Jah Culture Sound System with 
selector Ras Science -  featuring MC King Django and a variety of special 
guests.
When:  Wednesday Jan. 29th from 10PM - 3AM
Where:  Lot 61 located at 550 West 21st Street between 10th & 11th Avenues NYC
Make sure to check out King Django with his Roots and Culture Band at Makor on 
Saturday March 1st.  If you've never seen Django's Roots & Culture, you're 
missing a terrific example of taking Klezmer music and combining it with 
Jamaican Ska.  You'll be doing the hora and skankin' at the same time!!!!
