Re: JEWISH-MUSIC digest 2499

The most recent digest contained the phrase "Where Music Aficionados 
Debate Who's the Elvis of the Cantorial World," preceded by mention of 
Hatikvah Music, and followed by the name Hank Rosenfeld.  Supposedly, 
nominees would be those who've had the same role in hazzones that Elvis 
had in rock 'n' roll, so this doesn't directly address that topic, but 
Cantor Jacob ("Jackie") Mendelssohn does an Adon Olam in the style of 
Elvis.
