Fw: concert announcement

Dear Friends,

You are invited to the Carnegie Hall recital of

              Joshua Hannum-Izzard,

a magnificent American pianist representing the
Russian piano school:

Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall
154 West 57th Street, New York City
Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 8:00 PM

"Lyricism, virtuosity, romantic fervor, the works!"
(Chicago Tribune)

"...never a slack moment. Mr. Izzard held the
audience with a tonal palette of great variety and
beauty, and conceptions of arresting freshness, all
backed by a technique of unusual polish and
versatility..." (Albany Times Union)

"To copy Mr. Izzard would be impossible. His
performance this evening of the Brahms sonata op. 5,
and Paganini variations will remain in my memory
for a long time. Vital, fresh, marvelously executed,
at once individual yet faithful to the composer.
This young man is not to be missed." (The Charleston
Review)
