I saw David when he was in Chicago for the World Music Festival and heard him 
perform several numbers from the new album.  One of the more interesting was 
certainly The New Year After, in which he simulated a shofar in a haunting 
commemoration of the tragic events taking place just after last years Rosh 
Hashana.

2 fun tracks include a collaboration with MC So-Called (look for his 
So-Called Khasane with Sophie Solomon of Oi va Voy, Susan Watts Hoffman, 
Mssrs. London, Krakauer and others.  Another is a Freylich medley of TV theme 
songs.

Everything else is a combination of fairly traditional forms and contemporary 
arrangements of Turkishers, Bulgars, Gas Nign, and more.  A worthwhile 
addition.
