new klezmer books

FYI: 

"American Klezmer," edited by Mark Slobin.  A collection of essays. U. of
Calif. Press.  Many of the essays first appeared elsewhere, like in
"Judaism" magazine.

"Papa, Play for Me" the autobiography of Mickey Katz. Wesleyan U. Press.
Intro by Josh Kun, forward by Joel Grey.   This is a reissue of the 1977
hardback edition.  The intro by Kun is worth the price of admission, alone.

These books are trade paperbacks.
