The words to the song you seek are indeed by A. Hillel, called "Why does the
Zebra wear pyjamas?" (in Hebrew, "Mi Yodea Madua Velama Loveshet HaZebra
Pyjama?")
Because...
On Sunday morning, the Zebra woke up,
Took off his pyjamas,
Put on ordinary pants and shirt.
But right away felt unhappy,
So quickly put back on his pyjamas
(Chorus)
Pyjamama, pyjamama, put back his pyjamas.
On Monday morning, the zebra woke up...
and so on and so on. Every day the zebra tries on a different type of
clothing, is unhappy, and puts back on his pyjamas.
I don't remember who wrote the tune, but most collections of children's
songs is likely to have it included. My children are all grown up now, and
the children's CDs are long gone, so I cannot easily check for you.
