Brooklyn Klezmer Workshop Free Open House This Thursday, September 19, 7:30 PM at 7:30 PM

FREE OPEN HOUSE FOR JEFF WARSCHAUER'S THURSDAY NIGHT KLEZMER WORKSHOP 


A free Open House for Jeff Warschauer's Klezmer Workshop will be held this 
coming 

Thursday September 19, 7:30-9:30 p.m., at Congregation Beth Elohim, 8th

Avenue and Garfield Place, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

The workshop offers a rare chance to learn klezmer repertoire and style

with one of the most active teacher/performers on the klezmer scene.


The seven paid sessions will be held each Thursday, September 26-November 7, 
7:30-9:30 p.m. at Beth Elohim.   All instrumentalists at an

intermediate level and up are welcome. 


Guitarist/mandolinist and singer Jeff Warschauer performs and teaches klezmer 
music

worldwide.   A member of the Strauss/Warschauer Duo and the

Klezmer Conservatory Band, his award-winning music has been heard on HBO,

Public Radio International, and numerous recordings.
