re: Ashkenaz, and Canadian Cabaret

I would love to meet other listers at the Ashkenaz. And, late-night music
lovers may be interested in the show of local talent, the "Canadian Cabaret"
taking place on Saturday night, Aug. 31st at 11pm. Among others, fine
singers such as Stella Walker and Theresa Tova, who is also hosting the
show, will be performing (Theresa witha great Gelbart song "in hartsn mit
varshe", accompanied by Brian Katz and myself). I'll sing another gelbart
tune, and my brand new song "zol zayn", in english but inspired by its
namesake, it's partly a sing-along so come and HELP!    I have the honour to
be accompanied by Levon Ichkhanian (banjotar) and Rick Lazar (percussion).
