Having just been hit with the klez virus at the school I work in, I urge you
to develop a habit of NOT opening attachments unless you are expecting them,
and you know the sender. If you have the faintest doubt, delete! (As I say
to the staff at school, if it was important you'll be contacted again.)
someone else I know always checks with the sender of an attached file before
opening it.
The Klez virus is extremely pernicious, and can spoof your anti-virus
software into thinking that it's not a virus, and thus allowing it to
proliferate. Once in your computer, it attaches to .exe files, makes the
computer run slowly by using up all the processing power on an invisible or
unusual task, sends random emails to and from people in your address book
and generally makes life hell. I speak from deep personal knowledge - it has
taken us 5 days so far to clear, and we are not there yet.
So do be careful. If you are in any doubt, go to www.symantec.com and check
there.
This is not a commercial, just hope it helps . Sorry there's no music
involved in this post!

I hope it is old news that the so-called "klez" (probably created by
Sephardic
music fanciers, harumph) virus fakes the "from:" line in a message, so
things
that come with attachments, from people you know, probably contain "klez",
can
infect you, and probably are NOT from the people who appear to have sent
them.
