I wanted to let you know that I will be leading klezmer dancing (old time
Eastern European Jewish dancing to live klezmer music) with the Shirim Klezmer
Orchestra on Thursday, April 11 in Brookline, Mass. Details are below. This
is the first of a series of dances, with additional dances currently scheduled
for May 9 and June 13.
I'm very excited about this. Come and be part of the revival of a style of
dancing that has been neglected for too long!

Hi Friends & Fans,
Shirim Klezmer Orchestra teams up with dance leader/teacher Jacob Bloom for a
klezmer dance night at Temple Beth Zion (1566 Beacon St. Brookline, between
Coolidge Corner and Washington SQ.) on April 11, 7:30-10:30pm. Jacob will lead
the traditional, more free-form dances and teach the set dances. Only $6 at
the door. We plan to continue it on the second Thursday of each month. Come
and listen or dance to some of the best klezmer music around.
Call 617-522-2900 for info or visit our web site: www.shirim.com.
See you there!
Best,
Glenn Dickson,
