Sure. It will be from 1pm to 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. Come and
visit. Maybe it will last longer, if we're lucky. Can you believe we
have three trombonists now already in our orchestra? Come and make it
four. Maybe we'll set a new record for the biggest klezmer trombone
section in the world! Could the world stand it? :-)
If everyone shows up we have five to seven violins (they come and go)
and a viola, two celli, one string bass and two electric, a couple of
guitarists, mandolins, clarinets, flutes, tenor and alto saxes, three
trumpets, a couple of percussionists and a trap drummer, an accordionist
and a pianist--and me. I'm sure I must be leaving someone out. The
ages range from a 10 year old trumpeter and an 11 year old violinist to
an 89 year old percussionist, yidn un goyim, observant and godless.
Sounds like fun, don't it? You should hear us do Rumania. We could
pass for Abe Ellstein's bunch. Not really, but we're not bad.
