Re: music in concentration camps (fwd)

Hi, Katia,

Yoel Epstein has given you some great resources.

I don't know if this person could help with any more ideas, but Mina Miller
is President and Artistic Director of the Music of Remembrance concert
series here in Seattle. You could try contacting her at
info (at) MusicofRemembrance(dot)org .

Best,
Sandra

e-mail Katia directly.
Thanks,

Dear Abbi:
Geraldine, from the JMI gave me your address. I'm a violinist from the
Royal Academy of Music in London. I'm doing a Masters there and I'm doing
some research about music which was performed within the camps.
I've enough written material for the moment, but I don't have enough
repertoire (the idea is to give a concert). Do you have any information
about instrumental repertoire?
I've spoken to Anita Wallfish, the cellist who went to Auschwitz and wrote
the book Inherit the Truth. She gave me some ideas, but I'd like to have
more information.
Yours,
Katia Chornik
