There is no composer credited on either the original disc or in the
Spottswood catalogue. The flip side, Aneinu (which was recorded at the same
session), is credited to Max Kotlowitz. Both are accompanied on the organ by
Abe Ellstein.
In addition to Sirota and Hershman, there are recordings by Abraham Jassen
(Columbia, 1917) and a late one by Zavel Kwartin (Victor, 1928). The Kwartin
doesn't seem to be the same tune as the Hershman. We don't have a copy of
the Jassen.
