RE: Dylan or Donovan?

Indeed, this is all documented in living glorious black and white in the
classic cinema verite rockumentary "Don't Look Back," directed by D.A.
Pennebaker, including amazing scenes of Dylan and Donovan meeting for the
first time, Donovan playing a song for Dylan and Dylan (Jewish musician,
btw, to stay on topic) being very gracious to him (but also obviously
patronizing him), and also, unfortunately, Dylan treating Joan Baez very
badly.

ANyone who wants to learn more or see the film is welcome to sit in on the
course I'll be teaching, "Bob Dylan on Film," at Williams College during the
month of January, 2002.

Nope. It's a Donovan song. Ms. Baez had her way with both
gentlemen...you should excuse the expression. Donovan actually wrote it for
her...I believe. Of course, it's an easy confusion, because Donovan part of
his career copying everything Dylan did...ahem...I guess including... Ms.
Baez. A beautiful song and Joan sings it well.
