The title track on our second CD is the yiddish translation of the Russian
song by the same name. We've just been alerted that the title should
perhaps be simply "Black Cat".
How does one make the translation from russian which, from memory, doesn't
use either the definite or indefinite article? Or does it become the
choice of the translator/performer?
