Edwin Seroussi is not 'retired' but working at Hebrew University in
Jerusalem, where I spoke with him in his office this summer. He's currently
also
leading the Jewish Music Research Centre, a very important institution in our
field... (which, by the way, if you don't have their recordings, see their
website and buy them... they are outstanding in terms of scholarship.
