Re: TO EVERYONE IN NEW YORK CITY



I suppose that the Red Cross will be coordinating blood drive efforts across
the country.  So, if you are out of NYC, call your local Red Cross.  The
local TV cable channels in New York (I suppose the broadcast channels are
out) are referring people to the established blood collection places, and to
hospitals.

I served in combat in WW II on Leyte and Okinawa, and I saw a lot - but
nothing like this.  It has rightly been compared to Pearl Harbor - and I
remember that day - but then we knew right away who the attackers were.
