Lori-
This might seem somewhat obvious, but Google ( www.google.com
<http://www.google.com> ) is an amazing web search engine. I've almost
always able to find what I'm looking for if I can think of the proper
keywords for the search. Try 'klezmer history brief' and see what you
come up with.

Pardon me if this is obvious to everyone except me, but...

A friend of mine has been invited to speak on the history of klezmer
music, a
subject with which he is only acquainted in passing. Besides directing
him
to some of the books that have been discussed in this group, what are
the
best websites to visit for a brief but thorough history of the art of
klezmer?
