Khaverim --
Just a note to give you a heads up on a gig at the Knitting Factory --
Tuesday, July 31 at 8 p.m.
Klezz-Jazz
featuring pianist Burton Greene and clarinetist Perry Robinson, with
bassist David Wertman and drummer Kevin Norton.
This is the instrumental version of Greene and Robinson's Klezmokum and
given that the Greene is living in Amsterdam, they don't play here too
often. A challenging fusion of klezmer and avant-garde jazz and worth a
trip downtown.
The Knitting Factory is located at 74 Leonard Street in Tribeca; for
more info, phone the box office at 212-219-3006.
