Nigun Atik music and dance origins
- From: Ernie Gruner <erniegru...>

Please could someone confirm when Nigun Atik or Zemer Atik was written and
who wrote it. Was the dance written at the same time or later and if so by
who ?
The tune and dance are very popular in Australia and pop up not just in
Israeli dances and Jewish functions but also "Bush" dances and
"Multicultural" dances and bands.
thankyou Ernie
